BACKPACKING is a lot of fun IN COOLER WEATHER!! As the temperatures moderate, join Led By Scouts for our Fall Introduction to Backpacking overnighter for 2024. We will instruct and guide new backpackers in the most essential skills, including clothing, gear, packing, water filtering, campsite selection and set up, cooking and Leave No Trace. We’ll be hiking about 10 miles off and on the Appalachian Trail in above Delaware Water Gap, near Columbia, NJ.
