THE TRAIL IS CALLING!! Join Led By Scouts for our first Introduction to Backpacking overnighter of 2023. We will instruct and guide new backpackers in the most essential skills, including clothing, gear, packing, water filtering, campsite selection and set up, cooking and Leave No Trace. We’ll be hiking about 10 miles off and on the Appalachian Trail in above Stokes State Forest, near Branchville, NJ. Our experienced and enthusiastic Staff will lead the trek and provide some fun entertainment after dinner.
