Led By Scouts was born out of the desire to share our passion for overnight backpacking.

Who better to share this passion than individuals with practical Scouting experience and training, proven on the trail itself. Our Staff champions extensive Scouting experience and leadership skills. Most hold the designation of Eagle Scout or Venturer.

The Appalachian Trail provides the setting for the majority of our outings. It remains the most readily recognized hiking venue on the eastern seaboard, if not the country.
